1,100 USD Deposit
500 USD Single Supplement
Co-leaders: Anne Strickland of Birmingham, Alabama USA
Ian Perkins of Bournemouth, Dorset, England
Photograph the romantically rugged beauty of Skye where ancient footsteps have stepped since the Iron Age. Sweeping vistas of other worldly landscapes where the jagged Cuillin Hills ridge drops down to windswept rocky beaches. Abundant waterfalls plunge from the mountains and cascades spill from the Fairy Pools. Pounding waves crash against plummeting seaside cliffs. Rainbows, mist and the Northern Lights are all part of the drama that is Skye and the Highlands.
Field sessions. The best photography on Skye and the Highlands is very dependent on atmospheric conditions which rapidly change. We have a detailed list of locations and we carefully consider our plan for each day to have you at the most advantageous spot for that day.
Personalized attention and assistance on location. We do everything we can to ensure your happiness and success.
Lodging for six nights our clients at a charming local inn or shared cottage. Your room cost is based on double occupancy. A single room supplement of $500 for your own room.

Meals and alcohol. We will dine together at charming local restaurants and pubs.
Insurance. We strongly suggest travel insurance and insurance to cover your equipment.
ITINERARY (a detailed schedule will be sent to you two weeks prior to your tour)
We will meet at Holiday Inn Express, Glasgow Airport at 9 am on Sunday, March 22th to travel together to our accommodation in Portree on the Isle of Skye. Our full days will begin before sunrise on location and end after sunset. Breaks will be taken during the day (tbd by field conditions). We will have a class session scheduled during our tour but we will try to schedule the class session during any periods of inclement weather so that we can take advantage of the best conditions as they present themselves. The tour will end on Saturday, March 28 at midday at the return location of Glasgow Airport. Our first priority is for you to get the most out of your photography tour and that means getting you to as many locations as possible.
Anne Strickland has been to Skye numerous times and as one of her Skye friends once told her "you're like a local!" Before your tour, we plan a trip to Skye and we will have scouted the area for a few days more to make sure that your trip will be flawless. Our team goal is for you to get the images that you dreamed about when you booked our tour.
Mystically stunning landscapes; thrilling rocky coastlines; abundant wildlife; and
ancient cultural heritage await you on the magical Isle of Skye.
